Welcome to Ocean Tide Ventures (OTV) where tradition meets innovation in sustainable oyster farming. Nestled along Terengganu’s beautiful Setiu coastline, we specialize in cultivating Belcherei & iredalei Oysters, a premium oyster variety uniquely suited to our local waters.
At OTV, our process includes everything from careful spat cultivation to smart rack-and-raft systems, a rigorous depuration process, and lab-tested, traceable packaging. Our oysters are certified safe, fresh, and ready for every table, whether you're a home gourmet or a top-tier chef.
But oysters are just the start. By partnering with Malaysia’s leading hatcheries, tech providers, seaweed cultivators, and microalgae growers, we’ve grown into a holistic marine-farming business supplying oyster spat, seaweed, microalgae, and aquaculture equipment alongside our core product.
What We Cultivate
At OTV, we specialize in two premium Pacific oyster species: Setiu-Iredelei oysters (small, grown in rack-rafts and coastal trays) and Tawau/Kunak-Belcherei oysters (large, cultivated in custom floating bags). Each oyster undergoes meticulous farming and depuration to ensure top-grade quality and food safety. We also supply high-quality triploid and diploid oyster spat through licensed hatchery partnerships, supporting both our own farms and the broader aquaculture industry. Our integrated approach includes seaweed and microalgae cultivation for environmental benefits and aquafeed, delivering complete traceability and sustainability from seed to table.

Excursions are held daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Ocean Tide Ventures farms premium oysters across three of Malaysia's most pristine coastal ecosystems: the mangrove wetlands of Setiu, the clean tropical waters of Tawau, and the historic straits of Melaka. All three farms are active, with retail supply currently flowing through our Tawau site where the depuration system is fully operational.
